New PhD Position

In cooperation with Microsoft Research Cambridge, the Interaction and Graphics group invites applications (from India, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, Brazil, Russia and the developing world.) for an open PhD position that is supported by the Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate award.

Visit to UPMC and CEA

I visited ISIR - Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique which is part of Université Pierre et Marie Curie to see some of their latest research ventures in Haptics.

The center also has a strong interest in investigating the use of haptics in improving user interactions with scanning electron microscopes.
